Today we’re bringing you Stina Persson, a talented illustrator based in Stockholm, Sweden. Stina uses ink, watercolor, photography and collage with various different papers to produce images that are both vivid in colour and beautiful in nature.
Stina studied fine art in Perugia and fashion drawing in Florence and she also has a degree in illustration from Pratt Institute in New York. Her work today combines traditional painting techniques with a modern edgy look to produced some truly amazing results.
But you don’t have to take my word for it because Stina’s client speaks for itself and it’s possibly one of the most impressive I’ve ever seen: Coca Cola, Absolut Vodka, Sony Music, Blue Note Records, Atlantic Records, Macy’s Department Store, Bloomingdale’s, UNIQLO, American Eagle Outfitters, Volvo Japan, Björn Borg Clothing, DKNY, Face Boutique, Iben Høj Clothing, Target, Vogue Nippon, Harper’s Bazaar, Flaunt, Elle UK, Marie Claire, Madame, Madame Figaro, Nylon Magazine, Squint !!!
Wow, just reading that makes my eyes water, but it’s clearly a sign that she’s a talent in demand, a unique modern style has put her work at the forefront of modern illustration and just by looking at a few samples you can see why.
So as always we highly recommend getting yourself over to Stinas’ website where you can find many more excellent examples of her wonderful work and for those looking for a more tangible experience you can also find for details of up and coming exhibitions.
